Professional consultants working with stress and other stress-related disorders:
Stress consulting
"Markana A/S is a consultancy company which is a subsidiary of AS3 Company. We focus exclusively on the prevention and management of stress. We serve as a sparring partner for management teams, HR departments, and occupational health and safety committees when they discuss attitudes towards stress. We also offer personalised courses for individual employees or managers when they need specific tools in their daily work.
In this individual coaching, our work is based on a number of theoretical and proven concepts, which are adapted to each person’s situation and needs. Everyone who completes a personal course at Markana also receives a MusiCure CD.
Markana A/S has chosen to work with Musica Humana because the organisation is built on solid research and scientific documentation. This approach is in step with our attitude to professionalism and documentation, and we have seen the music yield great results both in our daily consultancy work and when candidates use it privately at home or at work.
We regularly use MusiCure music in our consultancy work to calm people’s thoughts and feelings. This creates a solid foundation for working with the more cognitive tools. Several of our consultants also have extensive experience in guided meditation and train candidates in the use of music in their daily lives, when they need greater calm and perspective, and greater body awareness.”

Music is an indispensable part of VileNordens total concept
At VileNorden, we focus our work around a concept we call “effective breaks”. In brief, this is all about giving a company’s employees tools to counter stress and tension in their daily work. In practise, this means we create a total experience, in which music and massage work closely together.
MusiCure music makes it possible to quickly unwind, shut out the outside world, and basically “kick start” the relaxation. At the same time, our massage chairs work on precisely the zones and muscles the user needs to “loosen”. The result is, that even in a large, busy and noisy workplace, people can effectively recharge, for example, during their lunch break.

The Moltke-Leth Group
A letter with feedback from director Edit Moltke-Leth (The Moltke-Leth Group) links in an interesting way experience from MLG's reading courses with experiences from professional teachers in particular schools, which reveals how music can work aggravating on the concentration and ability to read:
“I want to tell you about a very exciting experience I had with MusiCure in connection with my work. I work as a vocational psychologist with employee development, and one of my areas is reading and reading research. Many normal adults read very slowly. Their reading speed is between 180-250 words per minute. With two days’ training they can achieve speeds of around 1000 words per minute, and with much better comprehension.
This is where you come into the picture. I have experimented with combining your music and speed reading. It’s amazing what happens. Their reading speed increases significantly, and at the same time, they feel much more relaxed. A very interesting development!
It is clear that the right brain hemisphere is being stimulated, and the left hemisphere can use its resources to concentrate on the reading. I think this is very interesting and definitely worth taking further.”

Music in working situations
As a writer I became aware of the MusiCure series in 2004 when I seriously started writing. I have always loved to write, and the dream of publishing my own books have been my biggest goal in life, but it took many years of struggle and detours to reach the goal.
Music in working situations
The author Pia Reesen Brønnum uses specially designed music in the actual working and writing process and writes here about the background and her experiences using music as a stimulus in this context:
As a writer I became aware of the MusiCure series in 2004 when I seriously started writing. I have always loved to write, and the dream of publishing my own books have been my biggest goal in life, but it took many years of struggle and detours to reach the goal.
Before I place myself at the computer to transform ideas into words, I have been through a huge process of research and creative ideas on putting a story together in my brain, and have painted a colorful elegant plot in my mind. This process is incredibly energy demanding and very hard, although it is also indescribably exciting.
By coincidence I had in 2004 heard about a new CD, which came on the market but could only be purchased at the pharmacy, which was a signal about a clinically tested product that should be taken seriously. A type of music that could neither be considered quite as Classical or New Age, but much more universal.
I have for many years used meditation and self hypnosis, because I suffer from winter depression, and I therefore find it easy to put myself in a state of trance and dream myself away to the beautiful idyllic places in the world, and precisely this trance state makes my brain relax and open the drawers, which had previously been closed and locked.
But not until MusiCure finally floated out of my speakers at home in the living room, did my imagination find unknown proportions, which evolved almost like a feature film in my inner minds eye, and an exciting and fascinating universe opened up generously to me. Simultaneously, my concentration dramatically increased, so the ideas and words was stored deep in my brain, which gave time to write a ‘mindmap’, or as film people would say: storyboard.
The books I have written are in the crime mystery genre, and curiously enough both scary and violent, and thought: how soft music can be murder happens to occur in my brain, is probably a research project worth (!), But the essence is that MusiCure have a unique ability to inspire creative thoughts, to give renewed energy and awaken the sense of imagination in your mind. I have often told in interviews that when I sit at the computer and has seriously embarked on the tough writing process, then this world of ‘now’ has suddenly disappeared as if by magic, and I float away with the flow of the music, almost in a gentle trance state, which -, yes yes, sometimes require rewriting when a finger suddenly falls on a key - and stay there for ever!
While I write this, I hear the roar from the sea and the sound of the waves gently rolling in at the seashore with a caressing movement to the sound of the seagulls’ eternal freedom song. How can one fail to be euphoric and forget everything around you?
If brain scientists could implant a small MP3 player in the pituitary gland, which played softly 24 hours a day, would stress and depression perhaps disappear completely? Or crime, except in books? Free imagination, I know, but 10 years ago, I and the world didn’t know MusiCure and its positive effect, so who knows what will happen over the next 10 years? Well, that’s a journey am I looking forward to...!
